By interacting with our website, booking an onsite evaluation, or purchasing commercial robotic machinery from us, you agree to comply with these terms. Our electronic commerce platform is powered by Shopify Inc., which delivers the transactional framework enabling our retail operations.

1.2 Automated Software & Hardware Dynamics

As a specialized dealer of Mammotion and Lymow autonomous products, you acknowledge that these machines require ongoing over-the-air (OTA) firmware, cloud processing, and mobile app connectivity to function. Smartlawns Pty Ltd is a retail distributor and installer; we do not own or build the software applications. We are not legally liable for technical interruptions, server outages, feature modifications, or software bugs introduced by the manufacturers that temporarily alter your machine's mapping behaviour.

1.3 On-Site Mapping, Installation & Service Visits

Where you contract Smartlawns Pty Ltd to physically install, configure, or map your autonomous mower, the following property rules apply:

  • Site Preparation & Access: You must provide our technicians with unhindered, safe access to the entire property at the scheduled hour. The target installation zones must be clear of hidden debris, structural wire hazards, active construction, and loose animals.
  • Subsurface Infrastructure Disclosure: You are legally required to notify our installation team of any shallow underground utilities, automated irrigation lines, hidden drainage pipes, or low-voltage lighting grids before work begins. Smartlawns Pty Ltd accepts no liability for accidental puncture damage to unmapped or non-disclosed property lines.
  • Environmental & Satellite Restrictions: Mammotion and Lymow systems heavily utilize RTK-GNSS (satellite positioning) or LiDAR mapping arrays. While we perform site signal audits during installation, tree canopy growth, changing weather fronts, solar events, or new architectural barriers can impact satellite signals over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted signal reception across 100% of your property layout.
  • Onsite Cancellations: Booked installation slots require significant travel logistics across regional NSW. Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of your appointment will attract a $99 logistics restructuring fee.

1.4 Consumer Operational Safety Obligations

Robotic lawn care implements feature high-velocity metal blades designed to mulch thick turf. By placing an order, you accept complete personal liability for setting schedules responsibly. You must ensure the mower is never configured to operate when children, pets, or visitors are present in the target yard area. bypassing built-in factory safety sensors or operating modified equipment voids your service terms and shields us from liability regarding property damage or personal injury.
